The device has an elongated blade arranged at a bottom side of a receiving container (2) and extending transverse or inclined to a traction and/or shearing direction of the device. A hinged arrangement of the container is provided at a pivoting device (3), which is equipped with a height-adjustable device for fine adjustment of the blade. A hinged arrangement of the pivoting device is designed such that the container is emptied to hold the ground material in a base (2a) of the container and to tip out the ground material via a rear surface (2b) of the container.
