The access system has seat track assembly that allows the selective forward and backward movement of seat base (12) of vehicle seat (10) and includes seat rail locking mechanism (20) to lock the seat base. A seat back adjustable mechanism (14) is provided for alignment of seat back portion (16) with seat base. The seat rail locking mechanism is released by operating a comfort handle (26). The seat back adjustable mechanism is released by moving the seat base to front position so that the seat back portion is rotated and moved to comfort access position.
