The method involves integrating a windscreen (2) with a framework (1) of a motor vehicle e.g. car, via an adhesive cord (3). The cord having a thermofusible material is activated using a laser beam. The cord is deposited on peripheral edges of the windscreen in order to cooperate with the framework. A seal joint (9) fixed on the windscreen includes a thickened part (10) having a gauged cross section to maintain variation between the windscreen and the framework.
