The present invention describes a process for the treatment of charges from renewable source using a catalyst comprising at least one metal hydrogen - dehydrogenating chosen from the group formed by the metals of group vib and group viii of the periodic table and a support comprising at least one zeolite having at least one series of channels, whose opening is defined by a ring to 8 atoms of oxygen modified by a) at least one step of introduction of at least one alkali metal cation belonging to groups ia or iia of the periodic table, b) a step for the treatment of said zeolite in the presence of at least one molecular compound containing at least one silicon atom, c) at least one partial exchange stages of the cations of alkali metal cations by nh and d) at least one heat treatment step.
