The hub (10) has an annular inner shell (12) provided with air inlet orifices (27), and a set of variable bleed valves (30), each comprising a pivoting flap (28) that is movable between closing position and opening position in which the flap opens the air inlet orifices. A downstream transverse flange (18) comprises air outlet orifices (40) that are formed downstream from the variable bleed valves. A set of deflectors (46) permits guiding of air between the air inlet and outlet orifices. An independent claim is also included for an intermediate casing and extension assembly.
