The method involves drawing and/or pushing a portion of a control unit (51) in a drain unit (1) by push rods (14). The portion of the control unit is guided according to direction by reinforcement units (12). A portion of another control unit is provided in housings. Another portion of the latter control unit is drawn and/or pushed in the drain unit by the push rods. The portion of the latter control unit is guided according to the direction by the reinforcement units, so that the portion of the latter control unit is connected to the portion of the former control unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for rehabilitation of a fluid transport pipe.
