The process for treating a surface of a fluid product distribution device, comprises modifying a surface to be treated by ionic implantation using multicharged and multi-energy ion beam. The modified surface has anti-friction properties that reduce the interactions with the fluid product and/or reduce adhesion of product on surface to be treated. The ion beam is created by an electron cyclotron resonance source. The surface to be treated is made of a synthetic material. The ionic implantation is carried out at a depth of 0-3 mu m. The distribution device comprises a reservoir. The process for treating a surface of a fluid product distribution device, comprises modifying a surface to be treated by ionic implantation using multicharged and multi-energy ion beam. The modified surface has anti-friction properties that reduce the interactions with the fluid product and/or reduce adhesion of product on surface to be treated. The ion beam is created by an electron cyclotron resonance source. The surface to be treated is made of a synthetic material. The ionic implantation is carried out at a depth of 0-3 mu m. The distribution device comprises a reservoir for containing the fluid product, a distribution body such as a pump or a valve fixed on the reservoir, a distribution head equipped with an orifice for actuating the distribution body, an opening unit such as a piercing needle, a unit for distributing a dose of fluid product, a piston that moves in the reservoir upon actuation, and a device for counting the number of doses that are distributed or counting the number of remaining doses that are to be distributed.
