The device has a primary closed refrigerant circuit (b) to circulate refrigerant e.g. Freon(RTM: chlorofluorocarbon) or ammonia, for electricity generation, heating or cogeneration by using deep and medium geothermal heat. Drill holes are deviated and directed with concentric outer and inner pipes (1, 3) that are terminated by a base or a foot (p), where the outer pipe is longer than the inner pipe. Deep ends of the pipes are arranged horizontally to facilitate absorption of geothermal calories from a deep hot zone. An independent claim is also included for a power generation plant utilizing a refrigerant cycle.
