The reader has a housing (10) for receiving a main identifying gripping body to identify starting of a vehicle. The housing has a closing flap (11) for closing the housing. An elastic return unit elastically returns the flap to a closing position of the housing such that the flap supports against a fixed element (20) of the reader. The flap comprises an elastomer element (13) positioned such that the elastomer element supports against the fixed element of the reader in the closing position of the flap.
