The coating has a plaster board (6) provided between a surface to be protected and a protection product (5). The product applied by pneumatic projection comprises a binder based on cement, plaster or lime and water, and charge comprising mineral wool, clay, vermiculite, perlite or polystyrene. An attachment frame (3) is placed under the board. The frame is fixed to joists (2) by screw. An adhesive is placed between the board and the product. The product has an additive selected from a group e.g. foaming, thickening, hardening, retarding and fluidifying agents, and an adhesive. An independent claim is also included for a method of producing a protection coating to protect surfaces of building against fire.
