The equipment has a tank (17) comprising a filler neck (21) closed by a plug (13). The tank is mounted under a bonnet (9) of a vehicle such that the neck is arranged in an exclusion area provided for deformation of the bonnet during impact with a pedestrian. Breaking units break a wall of the tank along break perimeter given around the neck to allow removal of the neck from the exclusion area when the bonnet is deformed under the impact with the pedestrian. The breaking units include formation of a frangible area around the neck on the wall of the tank. The breaking units are provided with a hollow element that is in V shape or twisted shape.
