The present invention relates to a device for separation of ferrous and non-ferrous materials derived from grinding, incineration or other. The device is characterized in that it comprises at least one rotating magnetic device (7), constituted by a rotary disk (71) smooth or with a shaped surface, and by at least one magnetic field generator (72), placed behind said disc with respect to the products to be separated. The present invention is applicable more particularly in the field of the treatment of materials of all origins, in particular by shredding by means of grinding machines or hammer grinders, or the like.
