The method involves stretching a sleeve (D) to a position around a cross section of volumetric bodies. The sleeve is secured to a heating unit. The sleeve is heated at temperature (B) greater than an ambient temperature ranging from 20 degree Celsius to 24 degree Celsius, where the sleeve is heated before stretching and installation operation. The sleeve is subjected to a cooling operation less than the ambient temperature after installation of the sleeve on the volumetric bodies.
