The card (1) has an antenna circuit including an antenna coil (30), and an integrated circuit (20) connected to the antenna circuit, where the card is not provided with permeable magnetic material between conducting screens. A magnetic axis of the antenna coil is parallel to a side of the card. An electric conducting screen (71) is extended at a proximity of the antenna coil. Another electric conducting screen is arranged on an upper side of the card. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for connecting an antenna coil of a near field communication card (2) a method for carrying out contactless communication between a near field communication card and an exterior near field communication device.
