The vehicle (10) has a structure e.g. rear rail (16), and a rear axle that are connected together on each side of the rear axle by a rear suspension device (12). The rear suspension device includes an anchor rod pivotally mounted between a front end of a spring plate of the device and a structure, and a joint fixing a rear end of the spring plate to the structure. The anchor rod is placed at the front end of the spring plate and the joint is placed at the rear end of the spring plate.
