The device (10) has a receptacle (14) comprising introduction orifices (22, 24) arranged near end faces (18, 20). The receptacle is housed in a parallelogram-shaped box (12). A coins guiding unit (27) is arranged on the box in order to guide the coins toward introduction orifice (22) or another introduction orifice (24). A pivot connection unit (30) connects the receptacle with the box to authorize swinging of the receptacle between a storage position in which the orifices are set opposite to the guiding unit and a collection position in which one of the orifices is accessed outside the box. An independent claim is also included for a coin dispensing apparatus i.e. pay and display machine, comprising a cavity for a box coins collecting device.
