The device has a bracket that is articulated on a wall holder (1). The holder supports an upper bar (3). The bar receives two metal sliding side arms (4, 5) at each end. The bar is provided with an angle for receiving a lower part of a book or electronic media e.g. portable computer. The side arms are curved for providing a broad passage for the hand. A set of openings is provided in the bar. The openings are provided perpendicular to a principal axis for receiving the side arms.
