The method involves forming an envelope (4), and arranging a conductive fuse link in the envelope. The envelope is positioned in a filling installation (100) for filling the envelope with granular material. The envelope is packed with the material. The material is compacted by moving the envelope along a series of alternated movements partially directed along a horizontal direction (D1). Compactness parameter of the material in the envelope is controlled during which the envelope is positioned in the installation without interrupting packing and/or compaction step. An independent claim is also included for a filling installation of fuse, comprising a compaction parameter control unit.
