The device has a cam (11) attached to a lever (17) i.e. clutch pedal, and having a profile determined according to boost force delivered by a support and load torque presented by the lever. A roller (15) forms a part of the support, where the roller moves along the profile of the cam and exerts force on the cam. The roller is laid out in a cover made up of two parallel branches, where the roller is fixed through a pivot axis that crosses on two sides of the roller and the branches of the cover. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining profile of a cam.
