The unit has a cylindrical body (9) including a horizontal plate (11) provided with a closed oval chimney (14) and an open oval chimney (12) defining a hopper (13). The body receives a cover (2) having an oval cut (23) with a finger for actuating a selector (3). A receiving cap (5) is screwed onto a container (6) containing capsules. The cap is unscrewed to about 80 degrees such that the oval cut of the cover is located in an axis of the hopper and the capsule falls into the cap while selector closes the bottom of the open oval chimney to prohibit entry of any other capsule in the hopper.
