The method involves carrying out partial filling of a container using a product up to a given filling level. Pressure is applied on walls of the container in locations located below the level so as to create deformation of the container to drive raising of the product toward an upper edge of the container to evacuate entire or portion of air present in the container above the level. A gas treating atmosphere is set up above the container. Releasing of the exerted pressure is carried out when edge of the container at releasing moment is in contact with the treating atmosphere. The container is made of a deformable material.
