The device has an annular abutment seat (4) and joints (4a, 4b) that are formed as a single piece forming a monoblock assembly, where the seat is adapted for face sealing function. The joints control the deformation of the assembly when a piston (3) is supported on the seat in an unbalanced manner. The joints have lips and lobes on corresponding sides of the seat. The joints are arranged in a groove formed in the seat. An elastic or deformable element (6) is fixed at the rear side of the seat.
