The device (1) has base feet (41-44) including feet axes (A11, A13, A14) shifted with respect to axes (A21, A23, A24) of receiving tubes (51-53), respectively. The base feet are connected with the corresponding receiving tubes via an adapter (10). The adapter includes a support part extending along a supporting direction perpendicular to that of the axes of the tubes. The adapter includes first and second connection parts that are integrated to the support part, and are respectively connected to the feet and the tubes. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a base of an equipment on a building element.
