The tool (1) has grapples (3) fixed on a frame (2) for supporting the trees, and a shear (4) for cutting the trees, where the frame is provided with an M-shaped beam. The beam traverses a bore formed in an upper plate and is stamped in an M-shaped groove formed in a lower plate such that the shape of the beam is maintained. The shear includes cutting arms (14) that are provided with reinforcements welded between a lower sheet and an upper sheet. The frame, the plates, the arms and/or the grapples are made from S355 type steel of elastic limit greater than 300 MPa.
