The method involves providing a plastic part (5) i.e. decorative medallion, with a relief projection (29), and another plastic part (7) i.e. seal housing, with an opening (31). The relief projection is inserted into the opening. The latter part is provided with another relief projection (35) i.e. rib, projecting near the opening. The latter projection is melt at a stage of creating a welded connection (43) and bringing material at the connection, so that the projections are assembled together with the parts after cooling. The welded connection process is carried out by ultrasounds.
