The device (14) has longitudinal edge sections and transverse edge sections (20b) made from folded thin aluminum sheet and fixing parallelepiped photovoltaic panels (10). The sections include C-sectioned housings for receiving the corresponding panels. The housings are extended by U-sectioned grooves of the longitudinal edge sections and U-sectioned grooves (40) of the transverse edge sections introduced under the panels. The grooves of the longitudinal edge sections include cuts to receive the grooves of the transverse edge sections. Mastic is provided between the sections and the panels.
