The deflector (D) has an inner face in contact with pressurized gas when a gas pressure discharge device e.g. rupture disk (R), tears under the effect of overpressure of gas, where the deflector is made of metal or metal alloy. The inner face is coated with a layer (I) of material contributing to thermally isolate the deflector from the overpressure of the gas. Thickness of the layer of material is in range of 20-500 micrometer.
