The liner has a sole (1) receiving an ascending upper (2) whose rear opening is closed by a tongue (20). The upper comprises a vamp (21) to cover a front part of a foot of a user, and two quarter portions (22) forming side parts of the liner. Each of two opposed longitudinal edges of the rear opening comprises a rearward oriented convex flap (25) that is supported on an outer face of the tongue to form an excessive thickness to make up for one of anatomical depressions of the foot located in a region of Achilles tendon, behind a leg bone, above calcaneus.
