The method involves obtaining geological information associated to a mobile terminal i.e. mobile station or radio terminal, and indicating a geographical area where the mobile terminal is frequently provided for a determined time duration. The mobile terminal is assigned to a voice mail server (SVA) that is selected from a number of voicemail servers based on geological information associated with the mobile terminal. Each voicemail server is connected to a set of central switching nodes (A-D).
