The device has a container (10) comprising a product (A) i.e. oxidant, and an opening (13) that is intended to be closed by a closure unit (20) i.e. stopper. The container comprises a rigid portion (14) extending over part of its height from the opening. A deformable portion (15) is in contact with the product inside the container. The container is arranged such that pressure exerted on the deformable portion causes deformation of the deformable portion, and the deformable portion resumes its undeformed position by elasticity when the pressure ceases. The deformable portion is made of a material that is different from a material of the rigid portion, where rigidity of the deformable portion material is less than that of the rigid portion material. An independent claim is also included for a packaging assembly.
