The case has a base (2) defining a widened cylindrical cavity to receive a cosmetic product. A lid (3) closes the cavity in a reversible manner. A closing system maintains the lid in a closed position. A control button (4) controls the closing system, and is manipulated to generate relative displacement between elements e.g. movable magnetized rings (8, 11), that are respectively arranged in the lid and the base. The closing system comprises a sealing unit e.g. sealing joint (10), in the lid or in the base to seal the cavity.
