The device has a covering unit (3) formed in an upper surface (2) of a photovoltaic panel (1). A plate (4) is made of translucent material, and a supporting unit (5) i.e. pin (8), is arranged in the upper surface of the panel to lift the plate relative to the upper surface of the panel. A circulating unit circulates a laminar flow of air in a space that is created between the upper surface of the panel and a lower surface (7) of the plate by the supporting unit, where the plate is flat and made of plastic or rigid composite material.
