Hydraulic shock absorber for suspension of car, has inner tube whose conical part is tightened towards tube end to form radial clearance between ring and inner tube, where radial clearance gradually decreases towards limit switch
The absorber (1) has a rod (6) sliding in a cylindrical inner tube (10) containing fluid, where the tube is mounted in a cylindrical body (2). A hydraulic damping unit damps movement of the rod. The rod comprises a ring (20) that fits into a limit switch in a stop chamber (30) for compressing the fluid in the stop chamber. The tube comprises a conical part (26) tightened towards a tube end to form a radial clearance between the ring and the tube, where the radial clearance gradually decreases towards the limit switch. The end of the tube is centered on a guiding ring (4) of the rod.
