The device has a removable bearing module fixed on an intermediate cross-piece (3) and a lower cross-piece (4) by fixing points, in a bearing configuration of the device. A support element is removably fixed on the cross-pieces by the fixation points, in dorsal bearing configuration of the device. The element comprises a backrest in form of trapezoidal or rectangular plate. The plate is fixed on a same plane face as that of another support element to be extended on a zone covering a portion of the cross-pieces and a space between side posts (1, 1') in vicinity of the cross-pieces.
