PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power demand monitoring device capable of supporting voluntary power saving effort by a consumer.SOLUTION: An electric power demand monitoring device comprises: a prediction section; a determination section; an output section; and a setting section. The prediction section calculates a prediction value of electric power demand by a consumer on the basis of an electric power amount measured by an electric power meter for measuring the electric power amount individually used by a plurality of loads with which the electric power consumer is provided. The determination section determines whether or not the prediction value exceeds a contract target value on the basis of a contract between an electric power supplier and the consumer. The output section outputs an alarm when the prediction value is determined to exceed the contract target value by the determination section. The setting section is provided to set any target value different from the contract target value. Further, the determination section determines whether or not the prediction value exceeds any target value. The output section outputs an alarm when the prediction value is determined to exceed any target value by the determination section.
