PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compounding material for drink and food which is mixed in preparation of food and drink to give a warm feeling thereto, and a warm-feeling giving agent including a component of the compounding material as an active ingredient.;SOLUTION: The compounding material for food and drink for giving a warm feeling to food and drink includes, as an active ingredient, a hot-water extract of roasted barley with L value being adjusted to 30-40 by roasting barley. The hot-water extract of roasted barley is prepared by hot-water extracting the roasted barley adjusted to L value of 30-40 at a temperature of 70-120°C. The hot-water extract of roasted barley contains, as essential components, pyrazine, 2-methyl pyrazine, 2,5-dimethyl pyrazine, 2,6-dimethyl pyrazine, 2-ethyl pyrazine, 2,3-dimethyl pyrazine, 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furfural, furfural, 5-methyl-2-furfural, furfuryl alcohol and the like. The warm-feeling giving agent having blood flow-improving function includes a hot-water extract of roasted barley with L value being adjusted to 17-40 by roasting barley as an active ingredient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
