PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for being capable of carrying out early, highly sensitive and highly accurate diagnosis of ATLL (adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma), especially highly malignant (acute or lymphoma type) ATLL.;SOLUTION: There is provided a data acquisition method for ATLL diagnosis characterized by including a step of assaying the expression amount in a sample about at least one kind of miRNA selected from the group consisting of miRNA and its variant the ratio of which is ≥2 times or ≤0.5 times the ratio of a standard of the expression amount in CD4-positive T-cells collected from a smoldering type or chronic type ATLL patient or the like, a CD4-positive T-cell culture or the like collected from lymphoma type ATLL patients, or a CD4-positive T-cell culture derived from ATLL non-tumorous cells, based on the expression amount in peripheral blood from healthy subjects, peripheral blood mononuclear or activated CD4-positive T-cell (hereinafter, designated as "(activated) CD4-positive T-cells or the like"), a CD4-positive T-cell or the like originated from an HTLV-I (human T cell leukemia virus I type) carrier, a CD4-positive T-cell or the like derived from a smoldering type or chronic type ATLL patient, or a HTLV-I infected and immortalized CD4-positive T-cell culture or a CD4-positive T-cell culture derived from ATLL non-tumorous cells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
