PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information on a place where an event has occurred to an operator working in a plant in an intuitive and easy-to-understand manner.;SOLUTION: A plant monitoring information display system has an event occurrence information generation part 44, a location identification part, a video information generation part, and a display part. The event occurrence information generation part 44 generates event occurrence information when a data state of a current value of process data about each piece of equipment in a plant corresponds to a preset event occurrence condition. The location identification part identifies the location information on the basis of location information label provided on each piece of equipment. When determining that event occurrence information is generated in a piece of equipment corresponding to the identified location information, the video information generation part generates video information superimposed with drawing information for highlighting a part of the corresponding piece of equipment in the video information of the plant imaged by using shape information of the piece of equipment.
