CLIENT SERVER SYSTEM BY HOT STANDBY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent double processing of a main system business in a hot standby system to quicken a response.SOLUTION: A request of a client terminal is received and processed by a main system server, and a backup system server transfers processed data to the client terminal. Each server includes: a heartbeat monitoring part which transmits and receives a heartbeat with other system server to detect a state of other system; a business heartbeat monitoring part which transmits and receives a business heartbeat in an operation of the business application to detect the state of other business application; and a switching part which switches an own server so as to operate as main and backup system servers which perform reception, processing of the request, and transmission of the processed data to the client terminal on the basis of detection results of the heartbeat monitoring part and the business heartbeat monitoring part.
