PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-carbon fiber composite material in which carbon fibers are uniformly dispersed and the carbon fibers are largely mixed, and have excellent thermal conductivity, a method for producing the same, and a carbon fiber preform.;SOLUTION: A ceramics preform obtained by forming a plurality of ceramics fiber materials into a required shape and a carbon fiber preform formed in a step of forming a plurality of carbon fibers into a required shape are laminated in this order, a molten metal is pressurized and impregnated into the ceramics preform and the carbon fiber preform from the side of the carbon fiber preform, and solidification is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
