PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a manufacturing method of a roll-shaped circularly polarizing plate to manufacture a circularly polarizing plate with high contrast and less unevenness of image and with excellent moisture-heat resistance; and an organic electroluminescence display device and a lateral electric field type switching mode type liquid crystal display device, using the roll-shaped circularly polarizing plate.;SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a roll-shaped circularly polarizing plate to manufacture a roll-shaped circularly polarizing plate with a first protective film and a polarizer being laminated, the polarizer is made by laminating a hydrophilic polymer layer on a thermoplastic resin layer in a coating system and by stretching so as to have an inclination of 45° ±10° with respect to the conveyance direction. The manufacturing method of a roll-shaped circularly polarizing plate includes sticking the first protective film to the polarizer so that the in-plane phase value Ro of the first protective film is within the range of 80≤Ro≤200 and the angle between the slow axis of the first protective film and the absorption axis of the polarizer is 45° ±10°.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
