PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book production support method capable of supporting to efficiently perform visual inspection work when obtaining data for an electronic book from digital data for printing.SOLUTION: The electronic book production support method includes: a step S101 of obtaining text data of any region selected in document data of a book displayed on a display unit 17; a step S102 of putting identification marks 8 and 9 that can be displayed before a first character or after the last character of the obtained text data of any region; a step S103 of performing a process of pasting the text data obtained from the document data on a template for an electronic book; and a step S104 of displaying on the display unit 17, the text data pasted on the template for the electronic book along with the identification marks 8 and 9.
