PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically discriminate a measurement target on the basis of an image and to accurately discriminate the target using a moving image of insufficient resolution.;SOLUTION: A moving-object image discrimination device comprises: a moving image camera 1 for imaging an identical measurement region from an identical direction and a still image camera 2 with a higher image resolution than that of the moving image camera 1; moving image side image extraction means 3 which extracts an image of a discrimination target in a moving image frame using information on movement of the discrimination target, from the moving image imaged by the moving image camera 1; still image side image extraction means 4 which, on the basis of the positional information of the extracted image extracted by the moving image side image extraction means 3, extracts an image of the discrimination target from a still image at an identical time; and means which discriminates the type of the discrimination target on the basis of the extracted image extracted by the still image side image extraction means 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
