PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication device, capable of inserting and branching signal light, that branches signal light of a desired wavelength with no service interruption and guarantees quality of branched signal light and transmitted signal light.;SOLUTION: The signal optical branch ratio calculation device, which calculates a branch ratio of signal light for an optical communication device capable of inserting and branching signal light, calculates characteristics of branched signal light in the optical communication device that branches the signal light, calculates characteristics of transmitted signal light at a termination point after being branched in the optical communication device that branches the signal light, and calculates a branch ratio of the signal light from the characteristics of the branched signal light and the characteristics of the transmitted signal light at the termination point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
