PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning fork type treatment instrument/beauty appliance capable of effectively developing a healing ability such as immunity or the like possessed naturally by the Japanese, Europeans, Americans or Asians, etc., while enhancing treatment effect by using a tuning fork generating vibrations suitable for the racial group a Japanese, European, American or Asian patient belongs to, and also to provide a treatment/beauty method using the same.;SOLUTION: The tuning fork 1 includes: two pieces of vibration arms 2a, 2b of prismatic shapes with rectangular cross sections which are arranged approximately in parallel to each other; and a base part 2c for integrally connecting the vibration arms 2a, 2b. Further, the tuning fork has a vibration part 2 formed with the vibration arms 2a, 2b and the base part 2c to have an approximately U-shaped appearance, and vibrates at a frequency corresponding to at least one pitch in a music scale which is unique to the racial group a person who receives the treatment or wants to maintain/improve beauty and health belongs to.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
