PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling operation of a system so as to optimize operation cost.;SOLUTION: The operation of a system 600 is controlled according to a control locus represented by a solution of a set of differential equations satisfying a boundary condition, and the set of differential equations includes a sequenced piecewise differential equation. The set of differential equations is parameterized to provide one set of first parameters representing values of solutions at a switching point of time and one set of second parameters representing values of the switching point of time. The one set of first parameters and the one set of second parameters are alternately calculated until the boundary condition is satisfied to obtain a solution, and a control locus 605 for controlling the operation of the system is generated on the basis of the solution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
