PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a modified conjugated dienic copolymer capable of providing the modified conjugated dienic copolymer high in productivity, excellent in uniformity of glass transition temperature, high in modification rate, and high in the vinyl bond amount.;SOLUTION: The method includes a polymerization step of copolymerizing a conjugated dienic monomer and a vinyl aromatic monomer by using an organolithium compound initiator, and a modification step of causing the conjugated dienic copolymer obtained by the polymerization step to react with a functional group-containing compound, wherein in the polymerization step, (1) an etheric compound having two or more oxygen atoms and a cyclic ether structure which at least one oxygen atom constitutes and (2) sodium alkoxide coexist in (2)/(1) is ≥0.01 and 0.1 and (2)/the organolithium compound is 0.02 to 0.2 in a molar ratio.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
