PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin sheet and a molded plate using the sheet, in which deformation of a prepreg during processing is suppressed and resin impregnation property and spreading property of the fiber are improved, and thereby a void is suppressed to enhance the mechanical strength.;SOLUTION: An isotropic fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin sheet is obtained in the following process. A carbon fiber strand, in which a plurality of carbon fibers having an average monofilament fineness of 1.0 to 2.4 dtex are oriented in one direction, is impregnated with a thermoplastic resin composition and cut into small pieces to obtain a chopped strand prepreg having a thickness of 0.03 mm or more and 0.20 mm or less and a bulk height of 5 mm or more and 65 mm. A plurality of pieces of the chopped strand prepreg is laminated with random orientations of the fibers to obtain a laminate, which is molded into a sheet-like article by heating and pressurizing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
