PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film of a plastic optical component, the film having excellent adhesiveness to a surface of a plastic optical component and having excellent antireflection performance with respect to light in a wide wavelength region, and to provide a method for producing an antireflection film of a plastic optical component.SOLUTION: The antireflection film is configured to include a stress relaxation layer formed by using an organic silicon compound on a plastic optical component substrate, and the following antireflection structure formed on the stress relaxation layer. The antireflection structure has a structure of at least two sets of antireflection pair layers, each set comprising an antireflection pair layer including a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer formed by using an organic silicon compound.
