PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate CO2 emission amounts in each electric apparatus with immediacy.;SOLUTION: A CO2 emission amount monitoring apparatus executes the processes of: receiving the received amount of power from each power plant at a substation per prescribed time zone and then storing them as the received amount of power by substation; receiving data on received amount of power by power transmission source per prescribed time zone and storing them as the received amount of power by contract; receiving data on electric power usage of each electric apparatus at power use site per prescribed time zone and storing them; calculating a CO2 emission unit amount by substation on the basis of the received amount of power from each power plant per prescribed time zone and a CO2 emission amount per unit amount of generated power; calculating a CO2 emission unit amount by contract on the basis of the received amount of power by power transmission source per prescribed time zone, a CO2 emission unit amount by substation and a CO2 emission amount per unit amount of generated power corresponding to each power generation method at a private power generation facility; and multiplying the used amount of power by the CO2 emission unit amount by contract to calculate the CO2 emission amount of each electric apparatus per prescribed time zone and then outputting the calculated amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
